Vendula Ralkova was born in Prague in the Czech Republic and is now living and working in Vancouver. Her focus is street photography, following in the footsteps of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank. Vendula truly has an art praxis, and not merely an art practice. Both her photography and her teaching emphasize the human condition, and the importance of making on-the-spot decisions about what matters.
